Since completing his BA in Architecture at Arts University Bournemouth, James has spent well over a decade working for consultancies as a Designer. With a keen interest in Urban Design, James is fascinated in movement and connection on a site and how people interact with spaces. Considering the constraints and existing features of a site during the early stages of design, alongside how they can integrate with a new neighbourhood are key in creating successful new developments. As a Designer, this is a priority for James when working on new schemes to establish a strong sense of place.
James works on a range of projects, at all different points within the design process, from overseeing the initial sketch design through to submission and approval. He always ensures a coherent design proposal is maintained throughout a sketch layout and elevations. James’ competence and work ethic has built trust and reassurance in clients that figures and principles will always be met. James believes involving everyone in the creative process from the outset is key in creating successful new neighbourhoods for the future.
When not designing, James loves sport and is often found either playing golf, watching rugby or F1, with doing home renovations in between. To unwind he loves to go to gigs and listening to a wide range of music.

Communicating visions and detailed proposals graphically is key in architectural design. We produce strong visual representations of our design proposals to create the best user experience. From 2D plans to 3D axonometric projections and perspective visualisations, we employ various techniques and media such as hand-drawn sketches, digital photo editing and CAD software layout tools.
