Expertise: Architectural design, freehand drawings
We will put in the time to deliver what is commercially right for the business and ensure that it is the best it can be for the client so that everything hits the target dates which is key to continuation of work.
Paul’s career in the industry spans back to 1978 when he started his love with architectural design whilst working for a residential developer. Over the years he has gained massive experience and industry recognition for his designs. Collaborating with developers to design layouts he knows exactly what the client is looking for in terms of coverage, house types, structure and has a very comprehensive understanding of individual house types and how they work together.
His relentless focus on understanding how design complements the environment whilst being commercial and efficient for the developer has ensured his drawings have been used as the conceptual designs for large scale residential projects across the UK.
Paul is a massive fisherman with a keen interest in coarse fishing and entering competitions. He is also a volunteer for RSPB and Natural England and completes wildlife counts and studies. He holds a dormouse licence and as an endangered species lead a group to catch and weigh these furry creatures.
Feasibility and concept design are the initial steps in developing design options for your residential development project. Our feasibility planning service evaluates the commercial potential of a piece of land before creating concepts and architectural design solutions that augment the development potential.
Town Planning is more than just submitting planning applications. Having worked in the residential industry for many years, our experienced and knowledgeable team are well equipped to advise and guide clients through the many facets of the planning process, providing expert advice and guidance throughout.
Key to the delivery of any residential project is the efficient production of clear and concise technical working drawings. We produce fit for purpose and economical technical solutions that comply with all necessary building regulations using the latest Autocad or Revit software.
Landscaping is integral to any successful development. During the early stage of the design process, we identify key landscape features for retention and potential new areas for enhancement. Our experienced in-house landscape architecture team can devise hard and soft landscape schemes that not only perform a function but also add to the aesthetic quality of a development.
From small rural or urban infill sites, to large-scale, brownfield regeneration and greenfield urban extensions; we provide everything from concept and development framework plans to detailed masterplans and parameter plans, based on well-established urban design principles.
Communicating visions and detailed proposals graphically is key in architectural design. We produce strong visual representations of our design proposals to create the best user experience. From 2D plans to 3D axonometric projections and perspective visualisations, we employ various techniques and media such as hand-drawn sketches, digital photo editing and CAD software layout tools.
