Planning approval
The site that said no from every angle
The Noble Consultancy has just helped Taylor Wimpey Bristol finally secure detailed planning consent on 2nd July 2026 for 90 new homes, plus outline consent for a care home and employment use.
We’re delighted to announce the addition of Steven Trythall who has recently joined our planning team in the role of Senior Planner.
Steve is an enthusiastic planner with expansive knowledge and experience of planning, regeneration and urban design from 50 dwellings up to larger strategic developments of up to 5000 dwellings from outline planning stage, reserve matters to full application.
He joins The Noble Consultancy from a national housebuilder where he spent a number of years conducting all aspects of land planning, from site appraisals, acquisitions and promotion within the planning policy framework. He also has experience in the more technical elements, including ongoing management of sites, from pre-application stage to application preparation and submission right through to negotiation and management of planning conditions and s106 obligations.
Steve has significant commercial experience and has worked on regeneration and urban development projects. Prior to being employed directly by a national house builder, Steve also spent many years working for an Urban Development Corporation as well as a multi-disciplinary planning consultant as a planner, so he understands the needs of all stakeholders and is able to advise on planning matters at all stages of the planning process.
“I knew the company and the people because I had worked with the team on some projects over the years. What impressed me was their incredible design work, they are very well respected within the industry and I am delighted to be part of their future. I’m looking forward to making a positive contribution and to working with a great team,” said Steven.
“We have a superb team of talented staff and I’m very much looking forward to working with Steven and leveraging on his experience to ensure our business continues to provide stand-out services across all our projects throughout the UK” said Nick Noble, Managing Director.
Steve joining the business ensures we will continue to be able to offer our clients an all-encompassing, efficient and professional planning service.
