Detailed approval for 81 new homes in Kent
The Noble Consultancy has secured detailed approval for a further 81 new homes and associated strategic landscaping on behalf of David Wilson Homes Kent at Phase 2A, Sholden.
This approval completes all detailed planning consents for a total of 840 new homes, site-wide landscaping and strategic infrastructure including a new link road. The development will also deliver a primary school and healthcare hub. Once complete, this major development will be an attractive new community within Aylesford.
Phase 1 of The Poppies is now complete and construction of 409 homes within Phase 2 is well underway. This is a timely approval that ensures continuity of the build programme on site.
Having been involved throughout all detailed design stages, The Noble Consultancy continued to provide architectural and landscaping support in the form of feasibility sketch layout and schedule work, production of pre-application documents and a detailed drawing package for submission to Tonbridge & Malling.
Since The Noble Consultancy’s involvement at the inception of the detailed design stage, we have navigated the ever-changing market conditions, associated client aspirations and local authority comments to achieve a successful scheme that meets the needs of all stakeholders. For this we share gratitude to Paul Smith, our Senior Layout Designer, for numerous sketch layouts and 3D illustrations, and to Harry Scammell, Project Manager, for his endeavour and persistence responding swiftly to any requests and queries.
We look forward to visiting The Poppies once complete to see that our design work has flourished into a beautiful place to live with a strong new community.
